Tyler Heinje has been named as a Wyffels Corn Belt Award winner due to his commitment to his school, community, and the agriculture industry. To Tyler, the agriculture industry is both tradition and acts as a driving force throughout the world. He is involved in basketball, football, baseball, track, student council, FFA, the National Honor Society, FCA, and 4-H. Tyler enjoys the competitive edge when participating in sports. He also values the friendships he has made with his teammates and competitors from across South Dakota. Tyler helps in his community through his local church, Awanna Youth Group, and other community service projects. He plans to continue his studies with agribusiness and marketing and is interested in college athletics.
